To pursue a horizon that is forever receding

Precisely in the ultimate oasis of parody, in the arena of pastiche, a song won that in its simplicity strived for sincerity, by an artist wearing a “S.O.S. Refugees” t-shirt and detesting the spectacle, against the backdrop of a sublime forest. A victory of authenticity, of activism, of the neo-romantic; of hoping in spite of; of metamodernism. Right?
